Kathy McClain has a combination of over 15 years of experience in operations and human resources settings in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors that involves award winning work. In combination with these years of experience, Kathy has an academic focus. Holding her MBA from Walsh College and is a member of Delta Mu Delta.

Kathy is the founder and principal consultant of Praeliscere. Praeliscere provides ready-to-use resources and trainings for the people side of business. Over 60 resources are provided on the website which include one sheeters that are individual or team exercises or questionnaires, slide decks, and workbooks.

Her journey into writing children’s books began due to her want to advocate from an early age that entrepreneurship is a valid path. Through story telling with each unique animal and their business, foundational learning of running and excitement can be absorbed.
